What is Neck Lift Surgery?

This sagging in the neck area pull down the facial tissues over time, causing the face shape to deteriorate. Things to Pay Attention before Neck Lift Surgery
Since having used drugs such as antibiotics and aspirin can increase bleeding during neck lift surgery, they should not be used before the surgery. No alcohol and tobacco products should be consumed. Since hair dying is not allowed for a month after the operation, it is allowed to dye the hair until one week left to the operation.
How is Neck Lift Operation Performed?
Neck lift surgery, which takes around one and a half to two hours, is performed by opening an incision at the back of the ear towards the scalp. During the surgery performed under general anesthesia, the entire skin in the face and neck region is stretched upwards. In order to fasten the stretched skin, the skin is sutured from the inside. After the excess skin in this area is removed, the skin is sutured again. Thanks to this procedure, the patient gains a young, tense and aesthetic look.
The drain placed under the neck during the surgery to prevent blood flow is removed after staying there for about a day. The patient is discharged following the removal of the drain.
